Self doubt is not yours. 

It is the scars left upon your ego by others. 
Your soul knows no doubt. 
Only love and purpose. 

My self doubt doesn’t come from within. It has come from those, usually close to me, whom I have admired or loved. It has usually come during a period of growth when my still wet wings, dripping with possibility, were being formed. 

It has come from the insecurity of others, their fear at seeing this growth. 
The gnashing within them of their own scars, clawing inside of them. 
The brutal slashing of my wings, the sudden gravity placed upon my being, was done by the ego of another. 

The healing of these scars is an excavation of your own ego. 
The balm that heals the scar is the awareness that it is not your wound. 

Choose to heal. 

That gnashing, demonic fear within another is your beacon that you are on the right path. 
You are expanding beyond their comfort, but that does not make it wrong. 

Settle into the core of your being.
Know that the glow within you knows no shame, no doubt, no fear. 

It is with refreshed vision that I emerge with this knowing. 
I am here to serve.
Of that, there is no doubt. 
And so I rise.
